I retired last year, myself and 3 of my friends have always wanted to play the Dunhill Links courses that we watch on tv every year so we booked a 3 day tour with Scotland Golf Holidays which turned our dreams into reality. My best friend was married on 11th August 2012 and as his best man it was my job to organise the stag do for the end of June. My friend is a massive golf fan so there was only one venue for his stag, the home of golf!! There were 16 of us but that wasn’t a problem for the guys at Scotland Golf Holidays, we were picked up from Edinburgh airport in a bus that was big enough for all of us plus golf clubs and luggage, we then headed to our hotel in St Andrews where we initially worried that a party of our size might struggle getting tee times on the best courses, the worry was quickly taken away by Matt and Willie. They arranged everything for us including recommending and booking bars and restaurants, they somehow managed to get us on the PGA course at Gleneagles which nearly made the stag cry with excitement because he was getting to play the Ryder Cup course!! Thank you so much guys, we will be booking another trip very soon.

We’ve always wanted to visit the UK and play links golf to test our golfing ability on some really tough tracks in the windy conditions that we see the pros having to deal with every year. Unfortunately when we came over the weather was fantastic and for the 7 days we were in Scotland in late September we hand nothing but sunshine and no wind. Scotland Golf Holidays organised everything from start to finish and were so friendly and professional it made the trip even more enjoyable. I’ve got one word to describe our vacation….awesome!
